I want to limit my users to only one Terminal Server session, is this possible?
Yes, with Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server this is possible. You have two ways to accomplish this. You can either set "Restrict each user to one session" in Terminal Services Configuration to "Yes", or you can enable the group policy "Restrict Terminal Services users to a single remote session". To do the first:
- Click Start then Run and type tscc.msc
- In the left pane, click "Server Settings".
- In the right pane, right click "Restrict each user to one session"
and click "Yes"
To do the latter:
- Click Start then Run and type gpedit.msc
- Navigate to "Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows
Components\Terminal Services" and in the right pane, change "Restrict
Terminal Services users to a single remote session" to "Enabled"
