When I try to install SQL Server 2000 on Windows Server 2003, I get the message: SQL Server 2000 SP2 and below is not supported by this version of Windows. Does this mean that I cannot install SQL Server 2000 on Windows Server 2003?
No, it does not mean that you cannot install SQL Server 2000. It means that it is not supported to run SQL Server 2000 with SP2 or below on Windows Server 2003. So, click on Continue, and install SQL Server 2000 as usual. Once you have installed it, download and install SP3a.
