I have configured the email server and I can send emails without problems. But all emails the server receives ends up in the Drop folder and are not moved to the proper mailbox. What is wrong?
This can happen if you have moved the
mailroot recently and forgot to cycle the server. To cycle it, open the
Services snap-in and find Simple Mail Transfer Protocol
(SMTP) in the list. This problem can also occur if you created the SMTP
account manually through the IIS snapin. What you have to do in this case is to
delete the domain from SMTP and then re-add it using the POP3 tools.
